Privacy Policy

Bundable, "the App”, provides the ability to create bundles of existing products and add discounts and minimums, and automatically sync inventory, "the Service", to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and stored when the app is installed and used in connection with a Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When the App is installed automatic access is granted to the following information from a merchant’s Shopify account:

  • Shop domain
  • Shopify ID
  • Owner Email
  • Owner Name

Additionally, the following types of personal information from merchants and their customers are collected once the App has been installed:

  • User Agent of everyone who purchases any bundle
  • customer name, e-mail address, phone number, physical address, geolocation, and browser user agent of every customer who purchases any bundle
  • web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on devices

Personal information is collected directly from the relevant individual, through a merchant’s Shopify account, or using the following technologies and 3rd party services:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the site, and collect data including your browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the site. “Google analytics” that tracks user behaviour. “Mailchimp” for collecting and storing email addresses once the individual has provided their email and opted in to receive updates. “Help Scout” for providing email support services to merchants.

How is Personal Information Used?

Personal information is collected in order to provide the Service and operate the App. This includes when a user provides their email address to receive confirmation and updates regarding their subscription. Additionally, the customer’s email address is sent to the merchant to allow them to notify the customer when a product is back in stock. Personal information is also used to communicate with individuals by email, only after they have voluntarily opted in, to advise of new app releases, new app features and provide information or advertising relating to the products or services.

Personal information may be used to provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications deemed of interest to the individual.

Personal information may also be shared to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information received, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights as a European Resident

You have the right to access your personal information and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

Additionally, if you are a European resident please note that your information is processed to pursue our legitimate business interests outlined above. Also, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

When a customer places an order through the app, the Order Information is maintained for our records. All the data is stored in Heroku. It is retained forever, even after a merchant uninstalls the App - in case the merchant wanted to use the App again - unless and until the customer or the merchant ask us to delete this information.

Minors

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. It is the responsibility of the merchant (not the App) to ensure age restrictions are enforced on selling products that require age limits.

Changes. We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
