What's New in Bundable (2026)

We've been hard at work rebuilding Bundable from the ground up to deliver a faster, more reliable, and more powerful bundling experience for your store. Here's what's new.

Rebuilt on Modern Technology

Bundable has been completely rewritten using the latest Shopify APIs and modern web technology. This means:

Faster app load times in your Shopify admin
Full compliance with Shopify's latest API standards (GraphQL Admin API 2026-01)
Improved reliability and performance on the storefront bundle builder pages

Variant as Product Mode

Display each product variant as its own selectable item in the bundle builder. Instead of a single product card with a "View Options" popup, each variant (size, color, flavor, etc.) gets its own card with a direct Add button. Perfect for snack boxes, clothing bundles, and sample packs where customers should pick at the variant level.

Toggle on per-bundle under Display → Enable variant as product
Each variant shows its own price, inventory, and availability
Works with Single-SKU, Multi-SKU, and Multi-Step bundles
Single-variant products display normally (no unnecessary duplication)

Tiered Discounts

Offer escalating discounts that increase as customers add more items. Configure multiple discount tiers (e.g., 2 items = 5% off, 3 items = 10% off, 4 items = 15% off) to encourage larger bundle sizes.

Up to 6 quantity-based tiers per bundle
Supports both percentage and fixed amount discounts
Visual progress bar shows customers their current tier and how close they are to the next discount level
Works with both Single-SKU and Multi-SKU bundles

Per-Bundle Currency for International Markets

You can now set a specific currency on each bundle — perfect for stores selling internationally. Create separate bundles for each market (e.g., one in USD, one in SGD, one in EUR) and Bundable automatically syncs the price to the matching Shopify Price List so the correct amount shows in the cart and checkout.

Multi-SKU Bundling

You can now choose between two bundle modes:

Single-SKU (existing behavior): bundle appears as one line item in the cart
Multi-SKU (new): each product in the bundle appears as its own line item with its own SKU, making it easier for fulfillment and warehouse operations

Build-a-Box (Multi-Step Bundles)

Create guided, step-by-step bundle experiences for your customers. Each step has its own product source, limits, and sort order. Perfect for:

Meal kit builders
Gift box creators
Custom outfit selectors
Any "choose one from each category" scenario

Customer Notes & File Uploads

Allow customers to leave a note and upload a file (logo, design, artwork) when building their bundle. The note text and uploaded file URL appear as line item properties on the Shopify order, making them easy to access during fulfillment. Ideal for personalized or custom bundles. Theme Block Styling & Automatic Theme Matching (September 2026)

The Bundle Widget theme block now has its own styling settings in the theme editor:

Match my theme: the widget reads your theme’s colors and primary button style (color, corner radius, uppercase and letter-spacing) and uses them automatically. On by default for new installs; existing stores can switch it on per block.
Color pickers for buttons, button text, text, background and borders; a corner style (square, rounded, pill); full page width and maximum content width.
Popups, notifications and the loading spinner follow the same colors; fonts follow your theme.
The bundle summary now stays pinned while customers scroll on desktop.

Theme Embed Block

You can now add bundle builders directly into any page of your Shopify theme using the Bundle Widget block (listed under Bundable) in the theme editor. No code required.

Improved Display Settings

Control layout columns (2, 3, 4, 6, or 12)
Set items per page for product pagination
Choose from multiple sort orders (title, price, best selling, newest, and more)
Sticky bundle summary that follows the page as customers scroll
Option to show unpublished/draft products in the bundle builder

Translation Support

Customize all button text and labels on your bundle pages — including the Add to Cart button, Add to Bundle button, Sold Out text, and more. Great for non-English stores or for matching your brand voice.

Your Data Is Safe

All existing bundles, configurations, order history, and settings have been preserved during the migration. Your bundle URLs remain the same. No action is needed on your part.
